Put the board out on the table. The game begins with the lowest player taking a plush potato in his hand. The person sitting to his right takes the first card from the deck and reads the question aloud. Then he vigorously spins the top or runs a timekeeping application available for download to a smartphone. Whoever holds the potato must answer the question. After giving the answer, we pass the potato to the person on our left (clockwise) as quickly as possible and he or she must also answer the same question. The potato circulates among the players until the spinning top stops spinning or the application on the phone shows stop. Then the person who had the plush potato in his hand at that moment falls one square on the board.
