Go back to the times of the Polish People's Republic with the board game "THE LORD DIDN'T STAND HERE!"
Go on a journey to the gray 1980s, where queues were an everyday occurrence. Board game "THE LORD WAS NOT STANDING HERE!" allows us to relive these times, but this time with a smile on our faces!
Go back in time and feel the spirit of the Polish People's Republic
During the game, players are transported to the world of central planning and eternal shortages. The symbol of the era are endless queues to shops. The aim of the game is to obtain as many scarce goods as possible, which were usually difficult to find on the shelves.
Develop your strategy and have fun
It won't be easy, because all players are trying to get the coveted Relax shoes or a reel-to-reel tape recorder at the same time! Watch the goods carefully and don't let yourself get pushed out of the queue unless you hear the famous "You weren't standing here!".
History comes to life at the board
"By playing together, we can bring closer the history of 40 years ago," says Professor Jerzy Kochanowski from the University of Warsaw. For us these are recent times, but for younger generations it is the distant past. It is worth sharing your experiences from that period."
