In addition to various blocks with symbols, numbers and markings printed on them, the set also includes changed, larger front and rear lamps for the Polish construction, selected blocks in different colors, as well as two figures: a German train driver from World War II and a Polish train driver in a post-war PKP uniform. with the characteristic national emblem - the Polish eagle without the royal crown.
Detailed details
The 1:35 scale locomotive model has carefully reproduced details such as symbols, numbering and markings, as well as numerous "clock" prints inside the engine room. Thanks to the easily removable roof of the engine room, you can look inside to see faithfully reproduced details of the driving devices. Such details as the imitation of burning coal in the fireplace were also taken care of!
Realistic wheel movement
In the model, the entire wheel mechanism is coupled so that it moves simultaneously. Inside there are gears that create a complex mechanism that ensures realistic movement of the wheels and the entire drive. Just gently push the model to move the entire system.
Compatibility with other brands
The set includes four different wheel designs, some of which have rims, i.e. special edges, which makes the model stay well on block tracks and is able to overcome block turns with an inclination scale of R88 or higher. The model is compatible with tracks of other brands of blocks.
Tracks in modern technology
The set includes five track sections with a total length of approximately 65 cm. The track is made using two-color injection technology, which means that each individual section is made of two different colors of plastic, combined with each other. The gray steel rails stand out clearly from the realistically made brown railway sleepers. Each underlay has a board texture, i.e. imitation of wood grain.
Historical value
BR 52 or Ty2 is a freight steam locomotive of German design, produced in many European factories in the years 1942–1945. It was a cheap, simple, and at the same time very reliable steam locomotive. In Poland, after World War II, over one thousand two hundred of these vehicles were used in the structures of the Polish State Railways. The locomotive could pull freight trains with a total weight of up to 620 tons at a speed of 80 km/h or 1,700 tons at a speed of 50 km/h, and also pulled passenger trains many times.
