Cortex: A Challenge for Your Brain

Take your brain to the gym and take on the challenge of Cortex gameplay! This fast and fun game will allow you to strengthen various brain functions: perception, memory, reflexes, logical thinking and many, many others, while providing great fun!

How to Play Cortex

During the game, 2 to 6 people will compete with each other, quickly solving tasks from 8 categories. For correct answers, they will receive puzzle pieces, and the first person to get all 4 pieces and complete their brain picture will be the winner! Cortex offers 8 completely new types of challenges that can be added to those known from previous installments of the series. Additionally, in this version, cards soaked in various scents, which can be recognized with closed eyes, are a special challenge.

What does it involve?

1. The youngest player turns over the top card from the pile, placing it so that everyone can read its content.
2. When one of the players says they know the answer, they immediately cover the card with their hand and shout out the answer!
3. When he removes his hand, you check whether he was right and if so, he places this card in front of him. If a player collects 2 cards with the same back, he exchanges them for one of the 4 parts of the puzzle.
4. If he was wrong, you shuffle the card into the pile and start the next round. A player who has just made a mistake cannot answer for the next turn!

Eight Brand New Task Types!

• Orientation: Find the color of the dice by following the arrows.
• Color Tracing: Say what animal is in the fourth picture. Start with an image with a red border and then follow the colors. The background color of an image shows what color the animal in the next image is.
• Intruder: identify which shape does not match the others.
• Combining shapes: Say which 2 shapes can be combined to create the layout in the center.
• Constellations: determine the color of the constellation with the most stars.
• Coordination: The card has drawings of hands in 2 colors (blue for the left hand and red for the right). Cover the card with the hand that matches the color of the drawing. This drawing shows 1 of 3 gestures: paper, rock or scissors. After covering the card with your other hand, show a gesture that will allow you to defeat the one on the card.
• Arithmetic: find the result of the operation. Start with the red number.
• Challenge: This is a special task! The player receives a scent card, which they should rub gently with their eyes closed, and then determine what scent they feel.
