Sturmpanzerwagen A7V – The First German Tank of the Great War

History and Importance

The A7V is the first German tank from the Great War. A total of about 20 units were produced and appeared on battlefields at the end of the First World War. The slow-moving armored vehicle, a pioneer in its category, struggled with many technical problems. However, this did not prevent him from going down in the history of armor and preserving his legend until the 21st century! Its crew consisted of approximately 18 soldiers.
