Ju 87 dive bomber – Symbol of the Luftwaffe

The Ju 87 dive bomber is one of the most recognizable aircraft of World War II. A characteristic feature of this machine were the wings in the "W" configuration, which perfectly reflects our block model! The plane first flew in 1935, but had its baptism of fire in 1938 during the Spanish Civil War. In German propaganda, Junkers became a symbol of the power of the Luftwaffe. The machine was successfully used during battles in Poland, Scandinavia, France, Crete and during Operation Barbarossa. JU 87 in the B-2 version was intended, among others, for for tasks performed in Africa.

Realistic Scale and Details

The block model developed on a scale of 1:32 consists of 525 elements and is characterized by beautiful tropical camouflage and prints. The model has a movable propeller and ailerons and rotating wheels with rubber tires. The cabin can be opened to place carefully designed pilot and gunner/radio operator figures at the controls. When built, the plane is 34.5 cm long.
