Welcome to Avel: a world full of magic and adventure!

Welcome to Avel: a world where dozens of moons hang in the sky day and night. These magical celestial bodies - supposedly inhabited by gods - send magical gifts to their inhabitants. Thanks to them, wizards weave magic, druids help farmers take care of their crops, and children can play in the overhead streams. However, there is no time for this now, because Kurodar, the Black Moon, has approached Avelu and its evil magic has awakened the forces of evil. Dangerous creatures have always lurked in forests, caves and other dark places, but now they have come out in droves, and their hateful eyes are focused on the castle. It's up to you to save the land from their destructive ambitions!

Adventure awaits every hero

The Chronicles of Avel Castle is a cooperative board game for the whole family in which we take on the role of heroes and heroines responsible for saving a magical land. During the game, we will create our own characters with unique names and special equipment, and then we will explore the world by moving around the modular board. During the journey, we will encounter many dangers that we will have to fight, and each victory will bring us a specific reward: new weapons, armor, potions and gold. The collected goods will allow us to prepare for the final battle with the Monster that threatens the kingdom of Avel.

Create your own hero and save Avel

Each game of Avel begins with creating your own character. You can color and decorate the universal hero illustration as you wish. Don't forget to create her unique coat of arms and choose the most heroic of heroic names! And when all participants are ready, you can start playing.

The aim of the game is to discover new corners of the land, fight monsters and develop your character to best prepare for the final battle with the Monster, which will appear after a certain number of rounds. Avel is a cooperative game, which means that all participants work together as a team, and the success of one of you is the success of the entire group.

Game mechanics

The game itself consists of rounds during which participants take their turns. As an action, you can move around the board, use special actions of visited places, rest or fight monsters by rolling dice and using your equipment. This way, you obtain new items that will be helpful in subsequent struggles. Every action you take is important for the situation of the entire team and will influence the implementation of the strategy you choose.

When a certain number of rounds have passed, the Monstrosity appears in play. From now on, your main goal is to defeat him and his brethren before they can reach the castle.
