Why is it worth playing Cortex?

In Cortex, 2 to 6 players compete with each other by quickly guessing answers to 8 types of challenges that develop different functions of the human brain. For correct answers, they receive pieces of the puzzle, and the first person to get all 4 pieces and complete their brain picture will be the winner!

Warm up your brain hemispheres

Cortex will allow you to warm up both hemispheres of your brain and exercise it properly. It's a perfect family game that can also be used at parties, meetings or while traveling!

How to play?

• The youngest player turns over the top card from the pile, placing it so that everyone can read its content.
• When one of the players says they know the answer, they immediately cover the card with their hand and shout out the answer!
• When he removes his hand, you check whether he was right and if so, he deals this card in front of him. If a player collects 2 cards with the same back, he exchanges them for one of the 4 parts of the puzzle.
• If he was wrong, you shuffle the card into the pile and start the next round. A player who has just made a mistake cannot answer for the next turn!

Eight types of challenges that will stimulate your senses!

• Memory - Cover the card with your hand and list 5 things you noticed on it.
• Color - Cover the card with your hand and determine in which case the color word is written in its own color.
• Labyrinth - Cover the card with your hand and say which corner is the exit from the maze!
• Coordination - Cover the card with one hand and touch the indicated body part with the appropriate finger of the other hand!
• Pair - Cover the card with your hand and say which of the many pictures on it appears twice!
• Frequency - Turn this card face down and say which element appears on it most often!
• Reasoning - Cover the card with your hand and say which shape fits the empty space!
• Challenge - The player who has solved the previous challenge must close his eyes and, relying solely on his sense of touch, recognize the texture of one of the special cards imitating the surface of a basketball, moss, leather or other materials.
